Rough Idea for a New Piece

This quote by Thomas Merton is
one of my all-time favorites. I love
the concept of the earth being
"charged" with the glory of God,
as if some sort of supernatural
electricity—"fire and music"—
pulses through every part of
creation, and points to the Creator.

I have written this quote numerous
times, in different ways, and still
haven't quite found the best way to
"illustrate" it. Here's a rough idea.

Wow, Julie. I'm no artist, but I think you've pretty much captured it there. That's cool.

I love that quote as well, and you captured it beautifully! Did you add the color by hand, or did you get help from the computer??? I'm definitely a fan!

Thanks, Kate! This one is colored by hand using Dr. Martin's Radiant Watercolors. The lettering was done with a Sharpie Fine Point marker.
