Ireland - Calligraphy

As I mentioned in my post before leaving for my trip, I wasn't planning to see a lot of calligraphy while in Ireland. The famous stuff, like the Book of Kells, is on the east side of the country, and we were spending all our time on the west coast. But, as you can see here, I did come across a few examples.

Julie, Thank you SO much for showing us some of the sights from your trip! I am enthralled and envious and happy for you all at the same time! What a wonderful trip to take with your mom. Thanks for posting a comment... my studio is still is serious disarray... awaiting some wall treatments and window trim that is hampering me really settling in... so, in other words, no photos yet. But thanks for asking! Hopefully someday soon we'll have that work completed and I'll be able to share pictures. Have a safe trip home, Kathy
